We are a trades business, not a call center. Rayan's Plumbing takes the plumbing work Raleigh homeowners actually call about — a main line backing up into a laundry room, a water heater that quit on a Friday morning, a shut-off valve that will not close, a toilet that has to come off the floor to reach the flange underneath. Alongside the plumbing we run electrical calls, which is where the E in RPES comes from.

Most of that work happens in the city's older housing stock: the bungalows and four-squares of Oakwood, Five Points and Boylan Heights, the mid-century ranches out toward Southwest Raleigh, and the newer builds around North Hills and Midtown. Older houses come with older pipe — galvanized supply lines that have narrowed to a trickle, cast iron and clay drain lines that tree roots have found, shut-off valves that have not been turned in thirty years. We plan the job around what is actually in the wall rather than what a new-build manual assumes.

The business is built and run by Rayan. He answers the phone, walks the diagnosis, gives you the price before any work starts, and does the repair himself — which is why the reviews keep mentioning the same things: he showed up within a couple of hours, he explained what had gone wrong, he did not try to sell a replacement that was not needed, and he cleaned up after himself. When a job needs a second pair of hands or a specialty tool, the same crew comes back rather than a new subcontractor meeting you at the door.

We cover Downtown Raleigh, Five Points, Oakwood, Boylan Heights, Glenwood South, North Hills and the rest of Raleigh, and the goal on every call is the same: the problem fixed, the price you were quoted, and a house left the way we found it.
